Graphic Recording for Workshops & Events

I make information fun, beautiful and memorable

I capture the learnings and themes of events and workshops in an illustrated graphic, which can be shared among attendees to help them digest and reflect, or across social and web platforms to act as a summary of content.

Did you know that visuals help people remember information better than text alone? People retain 65% of visual content compared to just 10-20% of verbal information. And, where events aim to encourage positive mindset shifts, a graphic recording can be an important keepsake for years to come, especially when shared in print like a postcard!

I recently attended Purpose Disruptors’ event, Reimagining Advertising, as a scribe and shared the above image and time-lapse to be included in a follow up email to attendees.

Ellie worked with us to create a beautiful graphic recording of our Reimagining Advertising Summit at The Whitechapel Gallery. It was fantastic - Ellie intuitively understood how to animate & weave together complex concepts in a way that felt accessible, beautiful and coherent. It was so useful in clarifying some of the major themes that came out of our day. Thank you Ellie!

More recently, I was invited to Whitechapel Gallery to capture a graphic recording of a day of discussions surrounding youth co-creation and ways to support it. I sat in on group talks and exercises and illustrated in the sticky-note style of the exhibition the event referenced. By the end of the next day, the organisers had files - including a poster by request - in their inbox.

Ellie was really lovely to work with. She was adaptable, and approached illustrating our event with openness and curiosity. She slotted into the event seamlessly, and brought a wonderful, calm energy to the space, and of course delivered some great graphics.
