Environmental and Social Campaigns
What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
Jane Goodall
In 2023, I made a promise to myself that I would dedicate a portion of my time in the studio to environmental and social justice movements.
I was on my way home from an event by Purpose Disruptors at the Tate Modern that had brought the leaders from creative and advertising agencies together, working together to find new ways of working in alignment with a greener future. I had been invited along as an exhibiting artist, but it awakened an awareness in me of how powerful art can be in bringing people together, challenging long-held beliefs and limitations, and inviting discussions that drive change. Suddenly it felt like a weighty responsibility to be able to draw… and that superpower should be used for good.
Now, I prioritise projects that are part of movements to bring people together and reconnect us with the natural world.
If you have a project you’re considering an Illustrator for, I’d love to hear it! Drop me a message here…
